I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents as well as couples therapy. My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, and stress management.
I offer both in-person sessions at my office and secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions via telehealth across Georgia and Texas. You can choose what works best for you. Teletherapy is a flexible and accessible option for many clients, especially those managing busy schedules.
I do not accept insurance, but I can provide you with a Superbill that you can take to your insurance provider after the session has been completed and paid for to apply for a reimbursement.
4. What is EMDR therapy, and is it right for me?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma treatment that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories in a safe, structured way. It’s especially helpful for trauma survivors, people in recovery, and those grieving unresolved losses. You don’t have to talk through every detail of your past—instead, EMDR works at the nervous system level to release what's keeping you stuck.
5. I’m dealing with multiple issues. Can I discuss more than one thing in therapy?
Absolutely. Therapy is not just about focusing on one problem. Therapy can be helpful for anyone looking to improve their mental health, navigate life’s challenges, or better understand themselves.
The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. I like to get a general idea of what brings you in to therapy and what goals you'd like to work on first as well as any questions you may have. It’s also a time to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions, such as risk of harm to yourself or others. If you sign a release of information asking me to reach out to any specific group or individual, I would only be able to speak to that person designated on your form. We’ll review confidentiality in detail during your first session.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
No, I do not prescribe medication. However, I can refer you to a trusted psychiatrist or primary care provider for a medication evaluation if needed, and I'm happy to collaborate with them as part of your care.
